Cindy Schoelen

Cindy is a Partner with BPM’s Advisory group, responsible for accounting, compilations, reviews and audits. She supervises a staff of CPAs and para-professionals preparing GAAP, GASB, and OCBOA financial statements for use by management and lending institutions. She assists clients in analyzing their financial statements to help them understand and manage their business operations.

Cindy spends the majority of her professional time in the nonprofit and governmental sector. She supervises Yellow Book, A-133 and standard nonprofit audit engagements. In addition, she supervises staff that compiles books, records and schedules for clients that use other audit firms.

She also has experience working at the Internal Revenue Service where she went through intensive tax law training and audited income tax returns for individuals, businesses and corporations for more than three years.

Cynthia (Cindy) Schoelen holds an active CPA license in California.

Interesting Tidbit

Cindy is a health nut and enjoys going on walks, reading, going to the movies, and traveling. She is a roller coaster buff and an active member of American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACEE).
