Elizabeth has nearly 20 years of experience in public accounting, including more than 12 years at a Big-Four firm. She has a vast array of experience, including compliance and consultation with respect to consolidated multinational corporations (public and private), multistate corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, payroll, sales and use tax.

During her tenure at Deloitte, she spent five years overseas. During that time, she became well-versed in international tax compliance, consultation and all of the international tax aspects involved with individuals living, working and investing overseas.

Today, she continues to assist clients with amended returns, implementation of the Tangible Property Regulations, research and development (R&D) tax credit projects, corporate reorganizations, tax planning and projections, tax research and consultation, IRS and Franchise Tax Board (FTB) examinations, and income tax provisions under ASC 740 and related codification pronouncements.

She provides tax consultations to determine the tax benefits for individual shareholders to directly own stock in foreign corporations, contribute the stock to a U.S. corporation or to make an IRC 962 election.

Elizabeth also has experience assisting clients with net-operating loss (NOL) carryback claims.

She regularly assists high-net-worth individuals with income tax returns, international tax compliance and other services.

Elizabeth Dodson holds an active CPA license in California.
