James is an alumnus of Sonoma State University and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) Wine Industry Services Team. He has worked with a vast number of companies of all sizes ranging from those in the top 10 in the world to small sole proprietors (and everything in between). In early 2006, he left PwC as a federal Tax Manager in an effort to provide more meaningful client service and attain a better work/life balance.
Now in his fifteenth year of public accounting, he predominantly works with entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses and high net worth individuals in various industries including, winery and vineyard, retail, real estate, and manufacturing. James has extensive experience with ultra-high net worth clients, specifically in developing and implementing multi-generational family wealth transfers. His primary focus is in helping high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals with their related business enterprises, especially with tax compliance, consulting, life-long estate planning, and administration. James also has experience analyzing potential business acquisitions.
James Elliott holds an active CPA license in California.
