Jorge Melgoza Fernandez

Jorge has 10 years of experience providing audit and consulting services to nonprofits and local governmental entities under the Uniform Guidance (previously OMB Circular A-133) and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS). Jorge also specializes in auditing employee benefit plans and collaboratively oversees the majority of the plan audits for the San Jose office. He has worked with both for profit and nonprofit entities which have received local, state, and federal funds and require federal compliance audits. His experience includes working with organizations that receive federal funding, governmental entities, and medium-sized privately owned companies. His experience involves working with organizations that support the healthy development of children (from prenatal through age 5), behavioral health, family and social well-being, early childhood education, and low-income housing.

Jorge is fluent in Spanish and is currently learning French, so he can better communicate with his in-laws in Quebec.
