Monica has over 20 years of HR Consulting experience with emerging and established US and global businesses. She works with executive leaders to support organizations from a Human Resources perspective. Monica assists companies through tactical tasks, such as updating employee files or reviewing an employee handbook for compliance as well as helping with high-level work, including strategy sessions with C-level executives to discuss how company initiatives may affect company culture. In some cases, Monica has been the only HR professional in the organization. In others, she has supported in-house HR teams through mentoring, training, strategic direction and organizational development. Monica provides clients a range of support from implementing a special project and providing direction on best practices to helping establish HR function from the ground up.

Monica also leads our Compensation Project team. Through her experience as a business partner, she has implemented compensation structures from simple to complex, assisted leaders in understanding compensation tools and mechanisms, and provided guidance in how compensation can support organizational goals. As a true strategic partner, Monica has guided organizations of all sizes and many industries in developing their compensation strategy through salary ranges, job architecture, compensation philosophy, practice documentation, variable and long-term incentive programs, training and communication.

In the past, Monica established a client’s termination policy that created a consistent approach to voluntary and involuntary terminations as well as provided a C-level executive with support and guidance on organizational structure to best utilize the talents and skills of the employees. Monica also has experience in revamping benefit offerings enabling clients to offer better employee coverage while maintaining cost consistency.

She is known for her leadership coaching, compensation system development and communication, strategic HR, as well as employee relations and compliance skills.

Monica knows the ins and outs of running a business and has worked in numerous HR disciplines. She uses her in-depth business knowledge to understand new organizations and provide value quickly.

She started her career in the Silicon Valley and recognizes the complex nature of running a business in the South Bay. She now resides in Boise, Idaho and supports clients both domestically and worldwide.
