Paul has five years of international tax experience, and he is a Manager in our Walnut Creek office. He holds a Master’s Degree in Taxation and a MBA in accounting and finance management. Paul specializes in international tax compliance, groups analysis, planning and restructuring. He commonly assists clients with transition tax, GILTI, international tax withholding, transfer pricing, IC-DISC and tax research. He is a member of CalCPA and AICPA.
In the past, Paul has helped international tax clients identify issues related to missing forms and information, amend those returns and work with the IRS to abate penalties. He’s well-versed in new tax law and prepared to perform Sec. 965 and GILTI calculations. Paul prides himself in taking the time to do in-depth calculations that ensure clients ultimately save the most money possible.
Paul Alexandrov holds an active CPA license in California.
Interesting Tidbit
Before moving to the United States, Paul served as a SWAT officer for Moscow Criminal Police in Russia before working his way up to deputy chief of the anti-terrorism unit.
