Valerie’s clients include individuals, estates and trusts, and private, closely held businesses in various industries such as manufacturing, retail, wholesale distribution, importing, apparel and textiles, professional services and real estate.

- Saving an estate over $2.5 million in GST tax
- Saving a tech client over $85,000 in personal income taxes with R & D credits
- Assisting a wholesale client with the structure and negotiations of the sale of their business and saving the acquirer over $4 million in depreciation and amortization deductions and the seller hundreds of thousands in employment taxes and income taxes
- Saving an individual over $300,000 in federal and state taxes with conservation easements deductions

Committed to the advancement of the accounting profession, Valerie has dedicated many hours to Loyola Marymount’s (her alma mater) Accounting Department, where she was on the advisory board for several years and where she is still active with recruiting and presentations for the Accounting society. She is also active in the community, being involved with several charitable and professional organizations. She is a member of CalCPA and one of the founders of the Los Angeles Chapter ABC event. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Valerie has held many board positions in the La Primera Group, a not-for-profit organization and is the current treasurer and member of Business Exchange 100. She is also a current board member and treasurer of her HOA.
